ANANTA Launch Date Trailer
Shown at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25, 2026. The trailer sets the global launch for January 15, 2027 and opens the second map: after Nova City the Captain ends up in Chongxiao, with Weilan Lake, tea villages and a night skyline with a TV tower. The game is free to play on PS5, Windows, iOS and Android.

The Captain on the wing
The Captain, in a dark jacket, white shirt, blue tie and fingerless gloves, clings to the edge of the wing in the rain, his hair whipped by the wind. He raises his head and lists what is still undone: a mortgage, a father he hasn’t tracked down, a ticket home he hasn’t bought, memes he hasn’t posted.
Editorial assumption. The list fits the official premise. Game Informer, summing up NetEase’s materials, names finding the Captain’s missing father as a goal, and on Steam one plane ticket takes him home to Chongxiao, the map this trailer reveals.

The title goes up in flames
Taffy, with long rabbit ears and a green jacket, presses a button in front of a stage under the Chinese title of the game, 无限大, and cheers that it’s ANANTA. The next shot shows the same letters lying in a burning pile of rubble in a hall, with Taffy and the Captain in front of it, and the line gets a correction: or rather, it was.

Past Nova Bank
Taffy, the Captain and a blond young man sit side by side against glass towers, a NOVA BANK building and a red-and-white lattice tower. The Captain wears a lanyard badge with the ACD logo, and someone promises him they are about to make their mark at the ACD. Then Taffy waves to passers-by on a sunny street with a billboard.
Editorial assumption. The bank’s name points to Nova City, where the story begins.

An empty office
The Captain walks with a flashlight through a dark, cluttered room and asks whether the ACD has really just gone belly up.
Editorial assumption. The official description of the 2025 gameplay video has the same setup: the Captain’s employer goes under right after his first day. The 2025 gameplay trailer opens at the same dairy building, where the pair find the door closed.

Chase through the streets
An NCCA police car with flashing lights drives down a sunny street under an overpass. A man in a green cap runs to a fence with a STOP DO NOT ENTER sign. The Captain runs along the roof of a red container truck on a waterfront road, then stands on a broken metal beam against the sky. Over the chase he gets advice: go viral first and rebuild the ACD later, because once he is big enough the old staff will come back.
Editorial assumption. The advice sums up the fame system: missions and favors grow the Captain’s following, and a bigger following unlocks new missions and recruits.

Yeet Master

Weilan Lake
The Captain wakes up in a boat on a lake with a white arched bridge and trees on the shore and asks where he is. He looks up at Shi Ye, a girl with long dark hair and red eyes in a dark dress with a chain belt, and realizes he is back home. Small stone pagodas stand in the water at sunrise, a rowing boat floats by, and a tall pagoda rises on a wooded hill.
Editorial assumption. The same view of stone pagodas is in the official Weilan Lake gallery, so this is Lingyun in Chongxiao, and the tall pagoda is most likely Bachong Pagoda.

Life in the new city
A dark-haired young man in a blue T-shirt and a girl cross a street by a green bus and a lakeside pavilion. The pair walk toward a plaza with a golden sphere building and a tall tower. A man rides a scooter through a market street with pumpkins and a MEAT sign, a cyclist rolls down an autumn avenue under a red banner, a yellow-walled temple stands among skyscrapers, and a skateboarder grinds a curb past a comic shop. Someone begs to come along and hunt for martial arts masters and legendary weapons, and is told to read fewer fantasy novels.
Editorial assumption. The golden sphere and the yellow temple resemble the Hangzhou International Conference Center and Shanghai’s Jing’an Temple. That fits producer Ash Qi’s words that Lingyun is built on Shanghai and Hangzhou.

The Lingjing inside the pagoda

Editorial assumption. This is Bachong Pagoda: the official site says martial arts students come here for a legendary Lingjing hidden inside, and only sect members are let in.

A selfie on the riverfront

A streak of light crosses the sky; he looks up, wonders why everyone is running off and whether he is really that annoying, and takes a sip.
