Ash Qi told TechRadar in September 2026 that the team is building Lingyun, a city within Chongxiao, using Shanghai and Hangzhou as a base and layering the game’s setting on top. Reporters spotted a tower similar to Shanghai’s Oriental Pearl Tower in the trailer.
Coverage from 2025 called Lingyun the game’s second city. Since Gamescom 2026 NetEase names the second map Chongxiao and Lingyun a city within it. The official site places Mingpu District and Weilan Lake in Lingyun.

Chongxiao is the second big map of ANANTA, revealed at Gamescom 2026, and the Captain’s home. It contains the city of Lingyun and, according to producer Ash Qi, is noticeably larger than Nova City.
Mingpu District sits by the river in Lingyun. Glass towers stand next to low brick houses there, and the historic Lingjing Supervisory Agency neighbors tech companies. Zenith Tower rises above the district.
Weilan Lake, set among green hills, is the jewel of Lingyun’s map. Bachong Pagoda is reflected in its water, and an old legend about the lake draws travelers.
Zenith Tower is a skyscraper in Mingpu District that the official site uses as the symbol of Lingyun racing toward the future.
