Nova City

Nova City is the first city of ANANTA and the place where the story begins: a coastal metropolis with a lively, sometimes chaotic entertainment culture. It was the first map the team built.

Chongxiao panorama: a large lake with forested islands and shores, a city skyline and mountains on the horizon

Chongxiao

Chongxiao is the second big map of ANANTA, revealed at Gamescom 2026, and the Captain’s home. It contains the city of Lingyun and, according to producer Ash Qi, is noticeably larger than Nova City.

  • Small stone pagodas standing in Weilan Lake at sunrise, a rowing boat, and a tall pagoda on a wooded hill

    Bachong Pagoda

    Bachong Pagoda is a famous Chongxiao landmark on Weilan Lake. Besides tourists it draws martial arts students hunting for a legendary Lingjing said to be hidden inside, but only sect members are let in.

    Downtown

    Downtown is the central district of Nova City and a local favorite, according to the official site. It has a place for every visitor, and the crowds all chase the same big screens, pricey shops and trendy bands.

    Lingyun

    Lingyun is a city inside Chongxiao modeled on Shanghai and Hangzhou, where the developers live and work. Mingpu District and Weilan Lake belong to it.

    Longqi Village

    Longqi is a tea village of white walls and black-tiled roofs that keeps Chongxiao’s old customs. Wei Yinglong runs its temple, and the official site promises a warm welcome from both people and Chaos.

    Mingpu District

    Mingpu District sits by the river in Lingyun. Glass towers stand next to low brick houses there, and the historic Lingjing Supervisory Agency neighbors tech companies. Zenith Tower rises above the district.

    Veluxity Zone

    The Veluxity Zone is a district for thrill-seekers, far from the tidy shopping streets: street racing, fight clubs and other risky fun. The ParaBoar gang runs it.

  • Weilan Lake: wooded islands and a garden pavilion on calm water, with a pagoda on a hill and city towers behind

    Weilan Lake, set among green hills, is the jewel of Lingyun’s map. Bachong Pagoda is reflected in its water, and an old legend about the lake draws travelers.

    Zenith Tower is a skyscraper in Mingpu District that the official site uses as the symbol of Lingyun racing toward the future.
