Weilan Lake, set among green hills, is the jewel of Lingyun’s map. Bachong Pagoda is reflected in its water, and an old legend about the lake draws travelers.

What we know

The official site says the painterly view of Bachong Pagoda over the water brings crowds of visitors to Lingyun, but the lake’s legend is what really draws them. Ash Qi told TechRadar that boating on Weilan Lake is one of Chongxiao’s own activities.

TechRadar notes that the lake closely follows Hangzhou’s West Lake; the trailer shows small stone pagodas like the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. The lake gallery adds a lotus pond and a street fruit market with the Broadcast Goose. On the site Weilan Lake is paired with the Captain.
