Nova City

Nova City is the first city of ANANTA and the place where the story begins: a coastal metropolis with a lively, sometimes chaotic entertainment culture. It was the first map the team built.

What we know

Producer Ash Qi told TechRadar that Nova City was the first map, with a modern, entertainment-driven mood and an occasionally chaotic energy. The Captain arrives here at the start of the story, and the ACD works in the city.

In 2023, when the game was still Project Mugen, Ash Qi described the first city, then called Nova Inception Urbs, as a seamless map of more than 10 areas: a business district, a beach, public parks, an amusement park and a factory.

The official site names two Nova City districts, Downtown and the Veluxity Zone. The NCCA police, Saturn Entertainment, Aerie Bank, Vault Security and Reign Group are based here.

    The ACD (Anti-Chaos Directorate) is the task force the Captain leads. It handles Chaos incidents but is close to collapse, and rebuilding it by recruiting new agents runs through the whole story.
