ANANTA Gameplay Video
Ten minutes of one mission, released on September 25, 2025 for Tokyo Game Show. The Captain, called Chenxiu in the subtitles, fights the Black Metal Crew outside a restaurant, escapes in a convertible driven by Lykaia, shoots his way along the expressway and takes on a gang monster truck. At the end Lykaia introduces herself as Director of the Nova City Crime Agency.
Scene descriptions cover only what’s on screen. Editorial conclusions are labeled as assumptions. The breakdown was checked against the video on October 27, 2026.

Outside the restaurant
Chapter Intervention. The signboard of a traditional restaurant with noren curtains and lanterns. A man in a spiked red mask is kicked through the air over a square full of off-road trucks painted with flames. The Captain, with the ACD badge and a blue tie, folds his arms by the restaurant; the subtitle, signed Chenxiu, asks if these jokers are back.
Editorial assumption. Chenxiu appears to be the Captain’s name in this build; NetEase hasn’t confirmed a default name or whether the player can change it.

The Black Metal Crew
The Captain fights a crowd of gang members in spiked red masks on the square, slamming one into a green dumpster; an enemy counter ticks down in the corner. The subtitles name the attackers Black Metal Hammer and Black Metal Rhythmist: they call a dog pile to show that the Black Metal Crew means business, and explain that their boss wants to hold a concert in Nova City because a small stadium can’t handle his rock show. The Captain suggests a beach concert.
Editorial assumption. This is the gang GamesRadar described from the TGS 2025 demo as spreading violence across Nova City.

Chase begins
Chapter Chase begins. The Captain lashes a group of gang members with a long black tendril and grins between two masked fighters, one with a drum for a shield. A gang member staggers by a blue car.

Lykaia at the wheel
The Captain sits in a blue convertible driven by a woman with lavender hair, fox ears and a cap, named Lykaia in the subtitles. A masked man stands in the road as the car speeds off. Lykaia asks if things weren’t exciting enough for him before, and he insists the gang started it. Off-road trucks ram the convertible at a crossing.

Highway battle
Chapter Highway battle. The convertible flees along an elevated expressway with gang trucks on its tail, past a yellow taxi and a cement mixer, over a lane marked 50. The Captain stands up in the passenger seat and fires at the trucks while Lykaia says the gang really has its hooks in them and tells him to help the tires deflate.

Gunfire on the expressway
The shootout goes on between towers and building cranes, trucks catching fire. The Captain jokes that the gang isn’t great behind the wheel, and Lykaia adds a quip about following the rules of the road. A truck closes in and Lykaia shouts there is no time to dodge.

Into the bushes
The Captain grabs Lykaia and leaps with her through roadside bushes; next they are back in the convertible, rolling down an avenue. Lykaia notes that he has serious strength, just like in the videos.
Editorial assumption. Lykaia has already seen the Captain online, which fits the official story of him going viral.

Bikers in the underpass
Chapter Unexpected obstacles. The Captain wonders where all these bikers came from and asks where to go next. Riders in red chase the convertible through a long underpass, and Lykaia warns that they are flanking on the left.

Through the building site
The car speeds under an elevated road and across neon green road markings. The Captain says he thought Nova City was supposed to be safe, and Lykaia replies that criminals can’t resist his charm. She tells him to hit the gas, and the car smashes through a fenced building site with a crane.

Along the tracks
The convertible drives along a railway among cherry trees at sunset. Lykaia says she knows how to get them out of here and tells him to grab the wheel; as a commuter train rushes up on the next track, she tells him to brace.

Escalation
Chapter Escalation. Smoke fills a street as more trucks attack. Sitting on the edge of the car, the Captain fires back at trucks between glass towers and building sites. Lykaia complains it’s never-ending and half the city is going to get wrecked; the Captain warns about the left side.

More goons waiting
The Captain notes more goons waiting ahead and says he’s got this. The fight moves to a site of containers and trucks, one with KAZAMA on its side. The car crashes into a pile of crates, and the Captain sighs that there is finally some peace and quiet.

Final showdown
Chapter Final showdown. Lykaia asks if he has ever thought about joining the NCCA, and the Captain asks whether the ACD shutting down is big news. A blow throws him out of the car; he lands hard and gets up in front of a giant red truck with a grille of spinning drums.

Against the monster truck
The Captain lies on the ground, then vows not to let a hit-and-run slide. He reaches for wrecked cars with his tendril, rides a sheet of metal across the sand and dodges flames from the truck. Holding a blue barrel, he tells the truck to quit hurling stuff.

A gift from the fans
The Captain greets a huge man in a red-and-black leather outfit with a steel helmet and chains. Lykaia drives up and throws him something to show them what for. He leaps off the car toward the burning truck, announcing a little gift from the fans, and the truck explodes; he calls it a real banger.
Editorial assumption. The giant in the helmet is probably the Black Metal boss the gang talked about at the start.

A proper introduction
Chapter Introduction. The Captain and Lykaia sit in the battered convertible. She praises his work and introduces herself, in the subtitles, as Lykaia Reign, Director of the Nova City Crime Agency, and calls him Punt Master. He asks if they are heading to the NCCA and says he needs no good citizen awards; she suggests finding a spot to chat.
Editorial assumption. This spells out NCCA as Nova City Crime Agency, which the official site doesn’t do. Her surname matches Reign Group, Nova City’s conglomerate, though no link has been confirmed.
