Not officially. ANANTA is announced for PC, PS5, iOS and Android (fact in the registry), and as of October 28, 2026 every PC listing names Windows. Steam has no Mac or Linux version, Valve hasn’t rated the game for Steam Deck (fact in the registry), and the global App Store version isn’t offered on Mac.
What Steam and the other PC listings say
In Steam’s store data, Windows is ANANTA’s only platform, with Mac and Linux marked as unavailable. Both the minimum and recommended requirements say Windows 10/11 64-bit, with processor and graphics card still TBD (fact in the registry). The official Chinese TapTap page also names Windows 10 64-bit in both of its PC configurations (fact in the registry). Everything else known about PC hardware is in ANANTA PC system requirements.
NetEase’s own PC client, named in the August 2026 press release next to Steam, has no download page or requirements on the official site yet. NetEase hasn’t said whether it will run on anything but Windows.
Steam Deck: no rating yet
Valve’s Steam Deck compatibility report for ANANTA is empty: no Deck rating and no SteamOS rating. On Valve’s scale that counts as Unknown, which means Valve hasn’t checked the game yet. The other three ratings are Verified, Playable and Unsupported.
Steam Deck runs Windows games through Proton, and Valve gives the Verified rating only when Proton supports the game and all its middleware, anti-cheat included. NetEase hasn’t said which anti-cheat ANANTA uses, and the Steam page has no anti-cheat section. Since October 2024 Valve has required games with kernel-level anti-cheat to declare it on the store page, PCWorld reported, so the section may still appear before launch.
Our assessment: whether ANANTA runs on Steam Deck and desktop Linux depends on Valve’s test and on whatever anti-cheat the game uses. Until NetEase names it and Valve rates the game, don’t count on playing ANANTA on a Steam Deck at launch.
Mac: the iPad version isn’t offered
Apple makes iPhone and iPad apps available on Macs with Apple silicon by default, unless the developer turns that off. ANANTA’s global App Store page lists only iPhone, iPad and iPod touch under Compatibility, and the page data marks the app as unavailable on Mac (fact in the registry). Apps that do run on a Mac show a fourth line, such as macOS 11 or later and an Apple M1 chip. The Chinese App Store version, 无限大, has no Mac line either.
The one exception is 無限大, the Traditional Chinese version for Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, published by Heart Core Entertainment and linked from the official site. Its App Store page lists Macs with an M1 chip or later on macOS 12.0, and Apple Vision too. That store serves only those three regions, NetEase hasn’t said anything about playing on a Mac, and the page can still change before launch. The iPhone and iPad versions are covered in ANANTA on iPhone and Android.
Steam has no Mac build, and macOS isn’t on NetEase’s platform list (ANANTA platforms).
What is still unknown
- When Valve will rate ANANTA for Steam Deck, and what rating it will get.
- Which anti-cheat the PC version uses, and whether it works under Proton.
- Whether NetEase’s own PC client will run on anything but Windows.
- Whether the global App Store page will add Macs before launch.
ANANTA launches on January 15, 2027 on PC, PS5, iOS and Android (fact in the registry).
