NetEase hasn’t published PC system requirements for ANANTA. The Steam page lists Windows 10/11 64-bit for both the minimum and recommended settings and marks the processor and graphics card as TBD (fact in the registry). A detailed spec sheet does circulate online, with a GTX 1060 as the minimum and an RTX 3080 as the recommended card, but we couldn’t trace it to an official NetEase post, so we treat those numbers as unconfirmed.
What are the official PC requirements?
As of October 27, 2026, the Steam page shows the same short entry for minimum and recommended requirements: a 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, with the processor and graphics card still TBD. NetEase hasn’t published requirements anywhere else, including the official site and its press releases.
The spec sheet going around
These numbers appear in several articles. We list them only so you can recognize the sheet:
- Minimum: Windows 10 64-bit, Core i5-9400F or Ryzen 7 3700X, 16 GB RAM, GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB, 40 GB of storage, DirectX 11.
- Recommended: Windows 10 64-bit, Core i7-12700K or Ryzen 9 9900X, 32 GB RAM, GeForce RTX 3080, 100 GB of storage, DirectX 11.
Where they come from is unclear. AllThingsHow published the same figures with an update date of January 21, 2026 and wrote that they had surfaced ahead of any confirmed closed beta schedule. Gfinity Esports repeated them on August 26, 2026 and attributed them to the official ANANTA account on Bilibili. We couldn’t find that post, and the Steam page didn’t change afterward, so the numbers keep the rumor label.
Our assessment of the sheet itself: the processor pairs don’t match in class. The minimum puts an eight-core Ryzen 7 3700X next to a six-core Core i5-9400F, and the recommended tier pairs a Core i7-12700K with a much newer Ryzen 9 9900X. That doesn’t prove the sheet is fake, but official tables usually pair comparable chips.
Update, October 28: the recommended half of the sheet matches the one PC configuration on ANANTA’s official TapTap page in China: Windows 10 64-bit, Core i7-12700K or Ryzen 9 9900X, 32 GB of RAM, RTX 3080, 100 GB and DirectX 11. TapTap doesn’t label it minimum or recommended, and Steam still says TBD (fact in the registry). The GTX 1060 minimum has no official source.
How much space will ANANTA need?
NetEase hasn’t said (open question). The unconfirmed sheet gives 40 GB minimum and 100 GB recommended. A fan wiki mentions a 46 GB build from a closed test in China in January 2026, a test NetEase never confirmed (rumor). On iOS the App Store lists the app at about 1.3 GB, but games like this usually download most of their data after the first launch.
What is confirmed about the PC version
The PC version supports NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 and ray tracing (fact in the registry). NVIDIA announced DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and ray-traced effects for ANANTA in September 2025, and in August 2026 NetEase moved the game to DLSS 4.5 with Super Resolution and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. According to NVIDIA’s own pages, DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution works on every GeForce RTX card, while Dynamic Multi Frame Generation is for the RTX 50 series. What this means card by card is in ANANTA and DLSS 4.5.
NetEase hasn’t mentioned AMD FSR or Intel XeSS in its materials, so owners of Radeon and Arc cards have no confirmed upscaler yet.
What engine does ANANTA use?
NetEase hasn’t named the engine. A fan wiki and Icy Veins’ summary of the Tokyo Game Show 2025 interviews say the producer confirmed a heavily modified Unity, but the original interviews we checked don’t mention it (rumor).
Update, October 28: Unity China’s official account wrote in December 2024 that ANANTA uses Unity, naming full-scene ray tracing and GPU-driven rendering for huge cities (fact in the registry).
What to do now
Our advice: don’t upgrade a PC for ANANTA based on the circulating sheet. The game is free, so once NetEase publishes requirements or the game launches, you can check your hardware at no cost. Steam is the page to watch, and the question is on our list of unknowns. The launch checklist has a section for PC players, and other platforms are compared in ANANTA platforms.
