NetEase’s 2026 press release ties relationships to the Yeet Squad: meet residents, build bonds, recruit allies and unlock rewards. Game Informer and CGMagazine give the number of residents as over 100. Ash Qi told TechRadar you can invite your favorite character to go shopping, eat out or see a show.

The Yeet Squad is Taffy’s crew of content creators, which she co-founded hoping for perks at a million followers. NetEase’s 2026 materials also use the name for the team you build by recruiting city residents.
