SHANNON

SHANNON is a dairy brand from two NetEase trailers: its sign hangs on a white building painted with black cow spots, and the Captain and Taffy stand outside it in both. NetEase hasn’t described the company in its texts.

What we know

The 2025 gameplay trailer opens outside a building with the sign SHANNON and the Chinese word for dairy, workers in yellow uniforms at the door (0:01). In the subtitles the Captain and Taffy complain that they have only just arrived, the place is already closed, and they still haven’t been paid.

The 2026 Launch Date Trailer returns to the same cow-spotted building, with a van carrying the logo parked in front (0:28). The Captain and Taffy stand with a girl in a cow-print outfit, and a girl in a cap with horns and blue overalls holds a tablet. In the next scene the Captain asks whether the ACD has really just gone belly up (0:32).

Our assessment: both trailers use the dairy as the place where the Captain’s new job falls through, which matches NetEase’s description of the employer going under right after the first day. Whether SHANNON is connected to the ACD or simply stands next door, NetEase hasn’t said.
